Miami is taking the craft beer world by storm. The Magic City’s beer universe has expanded by 13 breweries in only the past seven years and at least six more are in the works. We invite you to go on a suds-soaked adventure with us in Miami’s Wynwood district. Enjoy an icy pint from the source and meet the brewers behind the beer with this walkable Wynwood brewery crawl.
Wynwood Brewing Company
Starting at Wynwood Brewing Company, pop into the artsy area’s first craft production brewery for seasonal brews and rotating food trucks. Grab their namesake Wynwood IPA for a citrusy dry-hopped beer that pairs perfectly with a burger, sharp cheeses, and spicy foods. Visit on a Thursday for Ladies Night with $4 pints, or Evening Happy Hour every Sunday for $1 off all pints served. Make it a point to drop in on the second Saturday of every month for their Pop-Up Art gallery featuring different local artists. 565 NW 24th St, Miami
Concrete Beach Brewery
Take the 4-minute walk east on 24th Street until you reach Concrete Beach Brewery. The huge space has both an indoor and outdoor bar for you to enjoy their classically brewed ales and lagers. When choosing a beer, stick to the basics - it’s what Concrete Beach does best. Their Havana Lager, Stiltsville Pilsner, Azúcar Doppelbock, and Floridafest Märzen are all excellent choices. Stop by for Taco Tuesday with $2 tacos from Pinche Taco food truck and happy hour beginning at 5 p.m. 325 NW 24th St, Miami
J Wakefield Brewing
Continue east on 24th Street for a few minutes until you reach J Wakefield Brewing. Just like nearby Wynwood Walls, your walk is a colorful one. The murals continue inside the Star Wars graffiti-bedecked brewery - and their beers are just as vibrant. Try the El Jefe for a traditional Hefeweizen infused with fresh coconut flakes for a taste of the tropics or one of their mouthwatering sours brewed with fresh fruit. Join them on the last Saturday of each month for a Brewery Boot Camp and a class in functional and core strength, resistance, speed, agility, and plyo high-intensity interval training. 120 NW 24th St, Miami
Veza Sur Brewing Company
Take 24th Street east to N. Miami Ave and head north to 25th Street. Take a right on 25th and Veza Sur will be on your right. The brewery is nestled in a quiet industrial area with a covered patio and their resident Chi-Fa food truck parked out front, serving up Chinese-Peruvian eats. What sets Veza Sur apart from the others is their made-in-house beer cocktails. The Lulo Bird mixes their Lulo sour beer with fresh Florida citrus, sage, pink peppercorn, and dried orange reduction. For the perfect after-dinner dessert, try the Café con Flan, which tops off their coffee porter with flan foam. 55 NW 25th St, Miami
