Valentine’s Day – you either love it or you hate it. Although we don’t like to take sides at WPH, we still are all about the romance, whether it’s curling up for some pillow talk in our luxurious sheets or indulging ourselves with rainfall showers.  However, if you are looking to go all out this February 14th, allow us to recommend some romantic options in South Beach. That is, before you come back to #whereplayhappens:

Villa Azur
309 23rd Street
Miami Beach, FL 33139

Often called the most beautiful restaurant in South Beach, Villa Azur looks like a page out of France’s Michelin Guide. With a variety Mediterranean cuisine and an atmosphere that’s distinctly Miami, Villa Azur makes for an experience that you’ll only find in SoBe. After all, It’s not every day you find fine dining paired with a good DJ and a cocktail menu to boot. Request the patio – it’s gorgeous.

1111 Lincoln Road
Miami Beach, FL 33139

By far one of one of the most jaw-dropping spots in the city, we love Juvia for its view of Miami Beach. Located on top of the Lincoln Road Mall parking garage, there aren’t many other spots in with a terrace like this. And while we wouldn’t consider Juvia’s menu our favorite, its ambience does rank high for romance. So if you’re wanting to impress, this spot is up to snuff.

Casa Tua
1700 James Avenue
Miami Beach, FL 33139

If you’re looking for an intimate setting away from the club-heavy atmosphere that Miami is known for, Casa Tua is it. Brimming with Mediterranean fare, Casa Tua’s menu specializes in Northern Italian cuisine – think truffle and risotto, artichokes and cream sauces. While the food is quite good, it’s wine list is even more impressive, filled with numerous varietals, from both popular and lesser-known regions. It’s a win-win.
