The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs will battle it out in Miami at the Super Bowl on February 2. There are plenty of places to be a part of the action on game day regardless if you weren’t able to snag tickets to Hard Rock Stadium. From pre-game celebrations to afterparties (and everything in between), here’s all you need to know before Super Bowl LIV in Miami.

Super Bowl Experience

Although the main event is a 30-minute drive north of SoBe at Hard Rock Stadium, the Super Bowl Experience is taking over the Miami Beach Convention Center for a week of fanfare. The interactive theme park has been held since 1992 and includes fan-oriented attractions like youth football clinics, exhibitions, official NFL merch, autograph sessions with current and former NFL players, interactive games, a Super Bowl rings display, and photo ops with the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Visit the NFL’s official site for more information, including tickets and a complete list of attractions and autograph appearances. Visit the Super Bowl Experience January 25 - 26 and January 29 - February 1. Arrive at the event in minutes when you book your SoBe stay with Washington Park Hotel. The free South Beach Trolley makes frequent stops outside our doorstep, with a drop off location at the entrance to the Miami Beach Convention Center.

The game begins at 6:30 p.m. but the day’s festivities begin much earlier. Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in SoBe opens at 9 a.m. on Super Bowl Sunday and will feature a special menu of Tailgate Bloody Marys and sports themed plates. Head across the bay to the Super Bowl Super Fan Fest in Wynwood beginning at 11 a.m. The festival will have live music, football activities, a beer garden, and a sports deck open until 2 a.m. The Players Tailgate hosted by celebrity chef Guy Fieri features over 30 active NFL players and celebrities, open premium bars, and all-you-can-eat gourmet dining. Tickets don’t come cheap, but you’ll be partying right next to Hard Rock Stadium from 2 p.m. to kickoff. Keep it chill before game time and visit HistoryMiami Museum. Their special exhibition Gridiron Glory - The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame presents 200 artifacts like rare photographs, historic footage, and the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The exhibition will be on view to the public from 12 - 5 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday.

Super Bowl Parties

Grab your foam fingers for an all-out Super Bowl bash like no other. Time Out Market in SoBe will have a viewing event with food and beer bucket specials, activations, photo booth, sports props, and all day game deals. Reserve your spot in advance for prime seating close to the big screen. The Clevelander on Ocean Drive will host a week of NFL themed parties which include live performances by Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe & Friends, and Lil Jon before their exclusive viewing party on game day where you can watch the Super Bowl on a 20-foot LED screen. BaseCamp in Little Haiti is transforming their outdoor space to include multiple viewing areas with seven LED and projection screens, VIP tables with bottle service, and drink specials, games, and raffles. Watch the game with rapper Ludacris at E11even nightclub in downtown. The 24-hour club will have a premium open bar during game time and will be dishing out a complimentary 11BBQ plate.

Where to Watch the Game

If you want to keep it low-key but still want the camaraderie of Super Bowl Sunday, there are many places to watch the game and get killer deals while doing it. Dress in your NFL gear and visit Veza Sur Brewing Company in Wynwood to receive $2 draft beers and $22 buckets of canned craft brews, plus 50-percent off chicken wings. American Social Bar & Kitchen and The Wharf along the Miami River in downtown will feature deals on beer, bites, and plenty of viewing screens. Bowl, ice skate, and take advantage of Basement’s $20 buckets of beer and $10 beer-and-a-shot combos during the game at the Miami Beach nightclub. Also in Miami Beach, Sweet Liberty’s viewing party features food specials dedicated to each team’s hometown and Bodega will have sweet deals on patron shots, buckets of Modelo, and margarita pitchers with a beer pong table set up for extra play.

The events don’t stop here. Miami is hosting a multitude of events leading up to the big day. From the Super Bowl Live fan village to Super Bowl Opening Night at Marlins Park, Super Bowl Music Fest at American Airlines Arena to the Celebrity South Beach Bowl’s flag football game, and the Super Fan Fest to Rob Gronkowski’s inaugural “Gronk Beach” Festival, Magic City begins the party days before the big game.
