The three-day festival takes place at select venues around Miami Beach including Soundscape Park, Euclid Oval Stage, and the Colony Theater, with many performances free and open to the public. Founded by disability activist David New, the festival attracts over 30,000 people who listen and learn through the talents of persons with disabilities. Proceeds benefit Power Access, New’s non-profit organization. Visit South Beach Jazz Festival for a schedule of events, performers, and tickets. January 3 - 5

The Original Miami Beach Antique Show

Visit the Miami Convention Center for the largest indoor antique show. The four-day event showcases furniture, artwork, handbags, home décor, and estate jewelry dating as far back as the 17th century. Over 650 purveyors from 30 countries showcase pieces from luxury brands like Cartier, Hermès, Tiffany & Co., and so many more. Event programming includes custom educational tours through the showroom, a Jewelry History Series, and an Appraisal Day open to ticket holders to get one item professionally appraised. January 4 - 8

National YoungArts Week

Young artists across 10 disciplines participate in master classes and workshops with leaders in their respective fields during National YoungArts Week. The week-long event gives finalists the chance to prepare for the next stage of their artistic development, while presenting their works every evening to the public. Experience the world through performances in voice, jazz, theater, dance and classical music, film screenings at the New World Center, readings, and a Design, Photography, and Visual Arts exhibition in the YoungArts Gallery. January 5 - 12
